Vietnamese Recipes

I already have a Basil blog, I love Basil, I love to cook, and now I want to cook Vietnamese food!

I started researching Vietnamese food, reading about all the essentials that I would need in my Vietnamese food pantry.

I have learned about the open markets and street cooking vendors so much that I would love to venture back to Vietnam and experience the cooking and learn about my culture!

So there you have it, from the day I was born to present and how strange it is that I was born in Vietnam and how I have found that Basil and Vietnamese cooking is a big part of my heritage.

I hope you will enjoy my Vietnamese Recipes from an American point of view.  You will see my mistakes, see my adjustments, and enjoy the adventure of each recipe that we make together!

My website isn’t just about recipes. I am telling stories and experiences of cooking Vietnamese food from my Texas Kitchen.

I even supported your dance team. We drove all the way to Austin to write about your dance team. It was a very entertaining experience. http://cookingvietnamesefood.com/2010/03/17/happy-vietnamese-lunar-new-year/

I’m happy that you have found a website that you can get the recipes easier from and I hope you will write about them as you prepare them like I am. I would love to read about your experiences. 🙂
