Hi Ramona,
You have an article about Vietnamese sweet soy sauce, and you mention it can be bought. Can you tell me any brand names? I can’t seem to find any online.
I used to frequent a Vietnamese restaurant that had what looked like Chinese soy sauce in bottles on the table. It was the same watery consistency as Chinese soy sauce, and tasted mostly similar, but was sweeter and had a little more depth to the flavor. I asked one time what brand it was and they said they made it themselves. I’m guessing it’s the sweet soy sauce you mentioned.
Anyway, I’d really love to buy some if you can point me in the right direction!
